A helping hand travelling through London Gatwick Airport

London Gatwick Airport-Parking

Helpful Hints:

Remember it is often as cheap to book a hotel room with an 8 or 15 day parking package as it is to book parking.

Short Stay Parking

Both of the terminals have their own short stay car park. These car parks are recommended for those who are wishing to stay less than 24 hours, looking to pick up or see off people. The airport provides a special fasttrack service for business customers providing special spaces very close to the terminals. If you are travelling for any length of time you will most likely be better served by using the long term car park. There is also a service which provides for valet parking for customers who wish to have their car parked for them. This costs £30 for the first day and £11 for every subsequent day.

Meet and Greet Service

For those who want a particularly smooth start and finish to their holiday or business trip they should investigate the meet and greet service. The traveller just drives up to the departures ramp and is met by a driver who will take your car away to a secure compound. At the end of your trip you phone once you are through immigration and your car is ready waiting for you. the cost of this service is often only a few pounds more than a long term car park and can save a significant amount of time at the beginning and end of a long journey.
